As a crafter, Isabel Kemper, known as Izzy to her friends and family, has been designing one-of-a-kind gifts and items for sale for over 25 years. In recent years, Isabel has embraced the amazing properties of glass. Fused, etched and/or slumped this versatile medium may also be incorporated with other mateial or products to maker truly distincive one-of-a-kind creations.
Leaving her corporae life in advertising and marketing behind, Isabel took an opportunity to fulfill a lifelong dream and develope her talent into a full-time business. Art truly works as therapy for her.
Isabel is inspired by Arts & Creafts movement, a return to when artists work with their "head, hearts & hands" as opposed to the machinery of the industrial revolution. It seems even truer today. Isabel believes when something is handcrafted with care and love, it transfers to the object itself, and then on to the owner. This truly magical outcome of creativity can not be mass produced, only transferred through the head, heart and hands of the artist.
