Art In The Open (formerly known as Artists' Alley) was the first stage of the Heritage, Arts, Culture, Entertainment (HACE™) Program - an entrepreneurship program. At the invitation of the City's Economic Development Office to join the City's Farmers' Market in 2000, Art In The Open provides our artisans and crafters the opportunity to sell their original hand-made products. Art in the Open runs every Saturday morning from the third week of June until Thanksgiving weekend in October.

Art In The Open at Farmer's Market is operated by the Brampton Arts Council for the purpose of providing original, hand- crafted works of art to the residents and visitors of Brampton. By providing this service the artists & artisans that produce these original works make the Art in the Open an authentic social and cultural experience.

You will see original hand-crafted artwork such as watercolour paintings, pottery, finely crafted jewellery, ceramics, custom woodworking, unique floral designs for your home, hand painted designs on wood & glass and more.
